Just 5 minutes of your times, 1 bowl, and 2 ingredients, can it get any easier?

You don’t need to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen in order to get something that tastes super indulgent! This yoghurt will satisfy your chocolate cravings and feel like a real treat.

Coconut cream and dark chocolate are the only ingredients you’ll need for this recipe. I suggest you use full- fat coconut cream and a good quality chocolate. I always go for a high chocolate percentage, sometimes as high as 90% but in this recipe, I opted for a 70% dark chocolate.

NO SUGAR

There is no need to add any sugar to this recipe which makes it even more satisfying! Make sure to choose a good quality chocolate whose sugar is NOT the first ingredients. You can tell if a chocolate is of good quality by the first ingredients showing up in the ingredient list; the first ones should be: cacao powder and cacao mass.

Coconut Benefits

Coconuts are rich in fat but the type and the one that gives you energy. “About 60% of the fatty acids in coconut cream belong to the medium-chain group. Medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) are smaller in size than long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs). For this reason, MCFAs can easily penetrate cell walls and supply quick energy to cells. LCFAs, because of their longer chain, are slow to digest and transport. That’s why our body tends to shove LCFAs into fat tissues as fuel reserve.” Source

Coconut cream is so versatile and can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes such as curries, milkshake, ice cream, etc. and of course in this 2 Ingredients Chocolate Yoghurt.

You will need to use the entire content of the coconut can (don’t leave the water out).

This yoghurt requires to be left in the fridge for at least 3 hours, until fully set. You can then enjoy it on its own or with raspberries/strawberries. It also works perfectly as a ganache on top of your favourite muffins or cake.

I hope you’ll enjoy this easy recipe, and that will love its creaminess and intense chocolate flavours as much as I do 😊.
