Vegan Recipes for everyone to enjoy
I am Mimie (nickmane given to me by my dad 😊).
I am a Plant-Based Recipe Developper and Nutritionist Consultant for Weight Management & Behaviour Change.
With Mimie’s Delicacies I want to share my love for baking, or more precisely my love for baking Vegan Desserts! You will also find some hearty savoury recipes that are quick and easy to put together.
My Mission?
I want to show you that you can be healthy without ever feeling deprived or feeling that you are missing out on the food you love.
Everything I do, I believe in nourishing both the mind & body. I want to show you that pleasing yourself to delicious food (or desserts) does not need to come at the expense of your health.
Nobody should be deprived of the food they love all we need is to adapt it to our body’s needs.
The purpose of this Blog
It is to guide you on how to create vegan dishes & desserts that are both delicious & nutritious. Revisiting the recipes that have accompanied me during my childhood.
Either you are vegan or not, the point is to include more whole foods into your diet and doing so through the most delicious food will help.
Because I don’t want to miss out on my favorites treats, I have decided to create the vegan versions of my favorite childhood recipes.
Some crepes for your petit-dejeuner, un gâteau au chocolat for your birthday or some madeleines and macarons with your café! I want to share with you my favourite pâtisseries without none of the dairy. Desserts that will TASTE and FEEL wonderful.
I believe that with a little imagination and a twist or two we can adapt any recipes to our needs, while tasting as good if sometimes not better than their original counterpart.
You will soon realise that there is no need for animal products and highly processed food, and that their plant-based alternatives not only work as well but also have a fantastic and positive impact on your health. Your body, mind and spirit will thank you for that, as well as the world around you.

SOUL FOOD
Baking and cooking have become my form of meditation. I enter the kitchen, put my apron on, get my ingredients ready, and before I know it I have entered in a world where my worries are not allowed to come in.
Baking calms me down and it gives me such an enormous amount of satisfaction knowing that my little creations are not only good for my mental health but also good for my physical health, making me feel good inside/out. They are DAIRY-FREE, refined SUGAR-FREE and for most GLUTEN-FREE.
Entirely VEGAN and so protecting our animals and our planet too.
From the simple crêpe, to the light mousse au chocolat and the delicate mille-feuille, I hope I can inspire some of you to try and recreate my favourite pâtisseries and dishes, piece of childhood memories … 😊
