Peel the apples, core and slice them. Place in a large saucepan on a low heat with the orange juice and the cinnamon.
Let it simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until the apples are completely soft.
With a fork mash the apples into a thick puree, you can also use a hand blender if you do not want any bites of apples remaining.
